This January, Pep Boys welcomes three new members to our team.
Tim Sheehan joins Pep Boys as Chief Information Security Officer after more than two decades of information security experience across a variety of industries. In his role at Pep Boys, Tim will work to develop and implement an improved security strategy to map any risks present and build upon our current security program, all while ensuring industry and regulatory standards are met and exceeded. Tim utilizes governance, risk management and compliance oversight as an approach to his work in security.
Heather Waring joins us as the Vice President of Treasury, where she will oversee the Treasury, Risk Management, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable departments. Heather has more than 15 years of experience under her belt, where her skills in treasury and accounting flourished. At Pep Boys, Heather will use her expertise to spearhead efforts to streamline operations, implement strategic initiatives to reach company goals and foster strong relationships with financial institutions and vendors.
Also joining the team this month is Sam Hanson as the Associate Vice President of Construction. Sam’s knowledge of the construction business will help Pep Boys expand upon our existing real estate profile and national development program. Sam will utilize his expertise to modernize the customer experience in our Service Centers and improve upon the efficiency and effectiveness of our construction team.
